10.18 Avaland: Lee Burridge, Dirty South

This week, Lee Burridge returns to Avalon after a long hiatus from the venue. Having recently played stunning and much talked about sets at Burning Man, Love Fest in San Francisco, and in the Beatport Tent at Movement Festival in Detroit, Lee has been serious about bringing the heat to his American dates. In the midst of his Get Weird tour, expect a genre bending and ear twisting foray into tech-house and electronic funk that stays true to the tours namesake.

As if that wasn’t enough to draw your interest, Lee will be playing an intimate late night set in Honey Lounge after 2:30 AM, where, if it’s possible, things could get even weirder. Recent Ex-Pat Bill Patrick will be warming things up for him in Honey Lounge. The former NYC Robot, has recently moved on to Berlin, and has become one of Europe’s hottest commodities. This should be one of Honey Lounge’s busiest nights of the year.

Kazell will be opening things up in the main room, and after Burridge, Electro House hero and Grammy Nominee, Dirty South, will take over duties at 2:30 AM. In the midst of a 21 city North American Tour, the Australian producer should bring a high energy crowd to close the night.
