G & T are the Scottish based house production duo of Grant Taylor and Tron Yantarra. We knocked out a few CDRs of one of our tracks, ‘Hold It’, in 2005 and it went down well receiving radio play on Lisa Littlewood’s Beat 106 (Scotland) show (well it was Beat 106 at that time). Lisa’s copy was eventually snapped up by Sandy Rivera, and we heard it played out in a few decent clubs, but we never did get it signed (sigh).

We’ve moved onto some new stuff by now as you would expect but have reworked ‘Hold It’ for 2006 and rather than just let it vanish, we are offering it up for free download from the following links. The first link is the dub mix (most people seem to prefer this version), the second is the slightly more commercial vocal mix.

It is, in our humble opinion, a solid end of summer house track which would sit well in both bar sets and funkier house club sets, and it’s free to download, so if nothing else just download it and fire abuse at us!!! but preferably enjoy it and play it in your sets.
