Aftershave EP – JP Chronic Remix

Founded only this year, Italian label Medicine Records is

run by Massimo Cassini and here comes a release from the

boss himself, backed by a JP Chronic remix. ‘Lanvern’ is

an elegant, dynamic tech house track that cuts through the

crowd with a taught rasping synth line and fine sense of

groove that runs from start to finish.

The JP Chronic remix (a fast rising production talent)

meanwhile is a more fluid, softer sounding and dubbier

workout that deals in swelling sounds and meandering

chords to make for something with a subtle sexiness to it.

As Medicine continues to mix emerging and established

artists, it certainly sounds on this evidence like a label to

watch…
