Past plays and experiences
Amir started DJing 8 years ago in his home town of Mostar in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. Influenced by the music of: Underworld, Leftfield, Orbital
and Kraftwerk and has developed his own style with a preference for
Deep House. Before moving to London, he played in many local bars-clubs
presenting his sets on the local radio station “Plavi Radio” Caffe
Next. Since coming to London he has played at venues such as: Babushka,
Bed Bar,Rinky Dink, Mestizo,Meet Bar, The Gate,Mau Mau-Portobello
London, ISH-International Student House,Matt & Matt, Notting Hill
Carnival, Beduin Bar London, Mother Black Cap and has hosted at
cooperative events and private parties.On several occasions his sets
have been played on House Fm. He regularly returns to Bosnia( Mostar,
Sarajevo and Croatia(The Bar-Sarajevo, Barhana-Sarajevo,Akt
Club-Mostar, Ali Baba-Mostar, Mala Ljubavna Parada-Mostar, Cocco
Locco-Mostar, Bijeli Bar-Mostar, Next-Mostar, Oxygen Club Mostar,
Makarska, Croatia @ Buba Beach Bar ) where he does gigs on his own or
together with DJs such as; DJ Blush ( Push Fm) Mili Sefic(
Fuel-Chicago)Dr.Marrese-London, Trevor C. Currently he is a part of the
most prestigious and saught after station Push FM, which boasts big
players such as Mike Monday, Miss Moneypenny’s, DTPM, Paul ‘Trouble’
Anderson and Robert Owens.His 2 hours show, “Monday Deep Session” is
on every Monday from 10-12 PMGMT
