Hi, my name is Callum Anderson, I’m from a town called Tranent, 10 miles east of Edinburgh, Scotland. I also go by the alias BeerFunk, for any production and DJ work I do.

Actually, that last part isn’t 100% true, as I am actually a mobile function DJ too, for which I use my real name. As things stand, I plan to cut down on my mobile work, as my heart isn’t in it anymore. It has been absolutely essential experience though.

Anyhoo, I am here because I’ve always been a huge music fan, and the biggest single part of that is house music. In particular, I like old school beats from Mood II Swing, David Morales, Erick Morillo, Deep Dish, Masters At Work, Armand van Helden, Paul Johnson, Joey Negro, Todd Edwards etc

I’m also heavily into the funkier side, like a lot of the ‘Disco Kandi’ stuff, but I am quite particular

I currently DJ with Denon dual DN4500 CD decks, DN-S5000 decks, and either the DN-X1500 or DN-X500 mixer (yep, I like Denon!)

Anyway, that should do for now, I’m going to have a browse around 😉

Hi from the south coast! Sounds like you got some nice kit there! I have some baby Denons, DNS-1000s, I love them, one day I want to get the S3500’s, one day!
