It’s the first release I come across of of this artist. One thing that immediately caught my attention was his sound.Though he only started producing in ’06, he succeeds in creating a unique sound;existing of a blend of pumping beats, synth stabs and twisted vocoder-esque vocals. A nervous base line on a tight and dry kick creates this tune’s excellent dynamics. Maybe being from Chicago, this guy has had the opportunity to learn his craft of some of the greatest artists when it comes down to house music(?) He produces house music on a nasty edge, hypnotising with raw beats, making sure to keep you where you should be; on the dancefloor. Keep an eye out for the launch of their website murkybeatz.com, which announces a couple of other releases by Twitchin Skratch. For sure downloadable on beatsdigital.com.
