    Callum B is on a slightly different level with productions that define pigeonholing and are truly innovative.

    Those were the words of a very respected Dj/Producer after he (Nicholas Bennison) reviewed “La Danza EP”, and will featured it in the Big Shot Magazine.

    Callum B, who was born in The Isle of Man (UK) came up with a pair of tracks breaking the barriers of Electro House and Minimal Techno.

    Numero One (Played by Niklas Harding live at WestBronx Sept 3rd and Dj Preach at Trasatlantic Show Sept 6) and Batido are the titles that opened many ears across the globe to a new kind of sound. Something that Callum B himself calls Hypno Electro. Could this be a new music genre being pioneered?

    If this wasn’t enough to get you interested, Der Mystik (Rockin’ Your World) & Alex Reliic (Who Can Save Me?) teamed up as Noize Heist to delivere an slamming electro remix of Batido.

    The progression goes something like: start with thick swinging beat and progress into an uplifting guitar section with a Balearic vibe. Drop in a heavy wobbling d&b riff. Add a quirky support line. Add break with ominous piano riff, introduce soaring strings and create uplifting orchestral vibe. Generate feedback build. Slam back into more weirdness. Phew!
