Canabis killed the radio star

Alot (if not most) of the people in this room who have a passion about their music have at some point smoked canabis
and dont see it as a big deal but when radio stations and certain Anti-drug ‘types’ refuse to either play or promote
a song or a track because it involves something to do with a certain ‘plant’ its almost as if they were talking about talking about murder.

it seems now that areas such as london and other european cities are closer than ever to the decriminalisation of cannabis however the primitive taboo’s surrounding the substance are still evergrowing
This has led to cause some frustration amongst artists like George Michael (a loud and proud smoker) / pop icon
who is being frowned upon for his private hobbie
however now the frowns are turning on to Clubland after years of being outcasted from mainstream music , House music has always bared the brunt for the drug bandwagon
although now it seems one particular house producer has dedicated his life to turn those frowns upside down.
the London based Dj / Producer and Self proclaimed ‘Weedom fighter’ that goes by the name of Doctor Riboh
is on a mission to change the way people see cannabis and how it brings us into a more peacefull / spiritual and religious relationship with the music after several club banging electro inflused house tunes he decided to unleash the secret weapon otherwise known as ‘The Bong Song’
many people / radio stations and magasines refused to play or promote this rather ‘in your face’ track due to the content…when asked about the specific track this is what ‘The Doctor’ had to say…
” I have been criticised for making a funny song because half way through you hear the bong going off and theres just a bit of stoner humour in it … its really no big deal , i dont see what the fuss is all about , weed isnt killing anyone and i think this whole ‘tax payers war on drugs’ is just a joke, the government dont care , if they really did care then why is alcohol available to anyone off the street , we arent killing anyone by smoking and i think the world needs to get with the times !”
The song was apparently made just as a joke and put online for the fun of it , there was no money making involved
and yes it was made under the influence.
we have spoken to Doctor Riboh since ‘that earlier fiasco’ and he is still proudly smoking and still trying to smoke the world out and concentrating on releasing some more ‘fun’ music for the people but maybe next time it will be a bit more ‘low profile’
