Spring Launch Party (Part 1 of 7)
The Garage @ The Old American Can Factory
On Saturday, April 18 Carmina Soul returns to the Old American Can
Factory, launching a 7 part Spring and Summer series of indoor
Warehouse-style and Outdoor events.
Residents Chris Annibell and percussionist Amon welcome RawFusion
recording artist DJ SIMBAD, one of the UK’s most innovative and
sought after dance music producers/remix artists. Together, they will
once again infuse Brooklyn’s dance community with West London
Broken Beats, Latin Grooves, Global House, Philly Soul, Jazz and
African Polyrhythms; a night geared towards honoring the cultural
landscape of Gowanus, Brooklyn and to transcend the confines of
traditional clubs.
This Spring, Carmina is reborn, launching in a truly unique space; for
the first time, The Garage @ The Old American Can Factory. In both
April and May we will be converting this interior space into a musical
wonderland, as we gear-up for our outdoor, courtyard launch, for the
Summer Solstice in June.
