Chris Bailey presents The Boy in The Corner: It
Is What It Is – The stunning and long awaited new
Balearic inspired artist album from South London DJ and
producer Chris Bailey.
With over 15 years experience behind him Chris has
created a rewarding and accomplished sunset chill out
soundtrack transporting the listener to the rocky shores of
Ibiza.
An artist whose production work is familiar to listeners of
Radio 1’s Kissy Sell Out, RTE in Ireland and has
support from the legendary Chris Coco; this is set to
be one of the must have chill-out albums of 2010.
Fourteen tracks capture the blissful atmosphere and giddy
evening expectation as the sun sets on the famous Sunset
Strip, home to iconic bars such as Mambo, Café Del Mar
and Kanya.
Blending elements of house, jazz, chill-out and
Leftfield, the album presents sultry female vocals and
house beats in ‘Plug In’ and ‘Lights On’,
alongside interesting male spoken vocal led tracks ‘The
Voices’ and ‘Spaceship’, with a quirky and
thought-provoking edge.
This is a beautiful and inspiring chill-out house album ready
to soothe the soul and transport you back to the magical
feeling that only the White Isle can deliver.

Album Launch
The official launch party took place at The Player in Soho
on 15th July, with supporting sets from BomoBeats label
boss Luke Dubyah and chill out legend Chris
Coco. Chris Bailey played the album in full as part of
his set, which received a great response and applause from
the packed venue of friends and industry figures.
