    Over the last 7 years Subbass DJ Academy has established as the UKs leading DJ and production school, with DJs playing at some of the UKs biggest events at clubs like The Gallery, Egg, Pacha and The cross and at events as big as SW4 and Electric Gardens. Producers have had tracks signed and many careers have been launched.

    On October 26th Twisted Disco hits The Cross with a huge line up Including…..Claude Von Stroke, Jamie Mchugh, Big Daddy,Graeme Lloyd and no less than 6 former students from subbass who are now making waves in clubland.

    This is another great opportunity for fresh talent to shine in the biggest clubbing arena and its fantastic that such a huge night will support young talent.

    Fabian Chui

    DJ, Promoter and Producer Fabian is making serious waves accross the London Clubbing scene. After completing the Subbass DJ course Fabian lept into the industry deep end with a mighty splash!! Under the Stripped Back bannor Fabian has played and promoted events at some of london’s top nights Including The Cross, The Key, The Gallery and new London club The Island.
    Fabian recently returned to Subbass to complete the production course and 08 will see Fabian and Subbass director Graeme lloyd launch a new record label, seriously ‘watch this space’!!!!

    Sarah Holder

    Sarah is a favourite with promoters and partygoers alike and her reputation as a peak time party starter precedes her. She came third in the Gallery/Subbass DJ Competition in 2006 and also won a Passion FM DJ Competition. Sarah began 2007 playing the final set at Brixton Academy for the New Years Eve Heat/Gallery House Arena. She is continuously playing in London clubs and has played at Babalou, the Egg, Turnmills, the White House, Inigos, Living and the Key. This summer she made her debut on the white island – Ibiza . Sarah has handed over the decks to DJs such as Tall Paul at PUSH and Dumb Blonde playing in Gallery’s all star female line-up – Girls, Girls, Girls. This year Sarah played alongside many of the top DJs in the world at South West Four Festival. Sarah has just started in production and has finished her first track which she looks forward to playing at the Cross.

    Lee Perrin

    Lee Perrin has come along way since taking a course at Subbass just one year ago, a very talented DJ from South Africa Lee has appeared at The Gallery at Turnmills, Koko, The Key and The Cross. With his minimal tech sound we are sure Lee will go far.
    lee has recently completed the production course at Subbass and you can expect to hear his music bounding around the dance floors in 08.

    Jan Makulin

    Jan Mikulin (Stretch First) started his DJ career in Reading, where he had the clubbing scene jumping for a few years he was there. He supported the likes of 2ManyDJs and Kosheen and ran his own radio show there too; bringing the word of dance to a new audience. Six months ago he moved to London, started Stretch First (a free monthly party) with his friend Rob Boy Right and attended the Subbass production course.Yan has played at Turnmills and The Cross. He is setting up his own record label (Metrosexual Records) and hopes to launch with an EP at Christmas.

    Hannibal

    Hannibal has been throwing mad house parties since he was a baby! It wasn’t until he moved to university that he was introduced to the dance music scene and began mixing at parties. Later he worked in Frankfurt and was introduced to the minimal and tech sounds. Living in the heart of the German scene, surrounded by the likes of Sven Vath, he got the perfect electronic education. Later moving back to London and itching to get back on the decks , Hannibal took the Subbass DJ course and soon after went on to play gigs at top London venues such as The Gallery at Turnmills. In 06 he went to Portugal , his motherland and tore up the dancefloor winning the Radio Oxigenio competition live on their prime Saturday slot. Enjoying the summer in true style, he played at the legendary Es Vive hotel in Ibiza . Now he’s ready to test your stamina at the Cross.

    Nick Quinn

    Originally from Bristol Nick began Djing locally whilst running a monthly event at Dojos Nightclub under the name The White Rabbit (TWR). TWR soon became a big success and moved to a bigger venue attracting big name Djs where Nick became a resident teaming up with the likes of Richy Lucas (Cool House) and James Davies (Grafiti). Success at TWR saw Nick DJ at the likes of Lakota, Arc Bar, The Warehouse, Timbuktu and Cool House.
    Soon Nick switched to London joining Subbass DJ Academy as a student taught under the ranks of Punx Soundcheck and Dan Gerrett (Catz Muzik). Through Subbass Nick found his sound in Techno developing his skills in production he now currently has two tracks out on release (I’m behind you and Minor Setback) on Catz Musik.

    DJ Safka

    Safka attended both Dj and Production courses at Subbass, and has played at some of the coolest parties ever since. With sets at The Gallery, The Whitehouse, Pacha and in Ibiza Safka has really moved forward since taking the courses.
    This will be his 2nd time playing for Twisted Disco at The Cross, he was so good last time they just had to have him back.
    Safka is also currently into the semi-finals of the Subbass/Gallery DJ comp!!

    We have only a few spaces left on our course for 07 and are currently booking for 08
