There’s tune that has been driving me mad. It would be very easy for me to get hold of I’m sure, if only I knew the name of the track and the producer.

It was a massive tune about 18 months ago or so. It centres around a progression of syncopated chords ( each played a semi-quaver after the beat) , with the last three chords rising in steps of a whole tone to the tonic major chord. The chords played with a sound that has a slow attack time (ie the timbre is very smooth sounding) and there are discreet delays of the chords that can be clearly heard.

There is a female vocal line over the top with two lines of lyrics. I can’t really remember the lyrics to it but I think the second line may be something a long the lines of “what you’re trying to do to me” or “what you’re doing to me”, with the first line rhyming with it and probably ending in “see”.

I realise this is all very vague but it is all I have to go on, which is why I’ve come to a forum for help. I would be EXTREMELY grateful if anyone could name this track for me.
