The production duo of CPEN and JT Donaldson are back
together for another installment of their trademark deep
house grooves which DJs and music fans have come to
love over the years on labels such as Nightshift, Seasons,
Lowdown and Utensil. On ‘Next To You’ the pair’s powerful
beats are accompanied by soaring strings, piano and
squelching sub bass sounds. Remixes are provided by
Bananza Music co-owner Marko Militano who turns in a
beautiful dreamy house with added pads, while Neil
Bainbridge, resident DJ at clubbing institution Shindig based
in Newcastle, UK, takes things in a more moody direction
while retaining the musicality of the original.
