Make sure your logged on the Defected Board this Thursday the 15th of July as Roland Clark aka ‘Darkclark’, the voice behind such classics as ‘I Get Deep’, ‘Funky Planet’ and Urban Soul’s seminal Classic ‘Alright’ will be gracing the Message board 4pm (gmt) Sharp! for a very special Question and Answer Session.
Here’s a little bit about the man behind the voice:
Roland Clark has had numerous hits since his first release in 1991. This ignited an interest with the mighty Strictly Rhythm. This went on to give birth to his celebrated and respected classics ‘Who Keeps changing your mind’ and ‘Show Me’ where he wrote and appeared on the track in conjunction with the legendary David Morales and Todd Terry. You would have thought that this was enough to ensure his status within the Dance Legends hall of Fame but no! He has also co-produced and wrote with Armand Van Helden on his great production “Flowers”, and more recently Roland has been featured on Fatboy Slims album ‘ From the gutter to the stars’ with his spoken word piece ‘Song for shelter’ and Star69’s ‘what the f**k’.
The guys a Legend and there’s only one-way to shake a story out him….
