DJ Disciple is considered a cornerstone in the NYC House scene. Currently the resident DJ at Lesouk and regularly spinning at Guest House, Disciple has also been the resident DJ at GBH, Spy Bar, Rehab, Pangea, Quo, Pink Elephant, and Cain.DJ Disciple is in demand around the world in cities and countries such as UK, Columbia, Montreal, Hong Kong, and Barcelona. The music Disciple produced reflects the scenes he’s played for and where he was born and raised Brooklyn, NY.DJ Disciple recordings include 2002 “Midnite Expresso”, 2003 Cyn’s “Fantasy Reality”, and 2004 HBO show Queer as Folk fell in love with “Caught Up”. 2005 solidified him as a consistent chart buster. By the time “Yes” got picked up by the UK’s Hed Kandi, Disciple’s name was synonymous with quality House music. In 2006 Disciple’s single “Work It Out” from his Catch 22 Recording label became an Ibiza anthem, licensed to over 12 countries and appearing in over 40 compilations. And lightning has struck yet again in 2007 with “Changes”, a productive collaborative effort between Disciple, David Tort, and DJ Ruff. “Changes” went on to break radio chart records all throughout Europe. While “LA Girls”, one of the labels last releases, is in rotation on daytime radio in France, Spain and Italy.THE NEXT LEVEL is a concept spearheaded to give back and contribute to the soulful and deep house scene. The party has been located monthly at various venues in Brooklyn and will make its Manhattan debut The Sullivan Room. People saw this as a “return to his roots” because of his groundbreaking soulful House programming on 91.5 FM of WNYE. In the late 80’s and 90’s when Disciple played at Wild Pitch, The Choice and Club 280 venues.DJ Disciple has committed himself to contributing to the New York deep house scene by always producing his own events. Disciple’s vision for the scene he helped shaped will prove to be THE NEXT LEVEL in underground dance experiences. Peven Everett, Ruben Toro, Will Milton, Naeem Johnson and Carlos Sanchez are just some of the guests that have played at the party. You can expect the LEVEL to rise higher with this groove veteran at the helm. THE NEXT LEVEL is all about exposing the best dance artists and producers making an impact on the scene today.
