It would be hard right now to imagine House music in Dubai without Raisani. It all started in the late 80’s from Soul/Funk until a few years ago a Deep House mix CD of Harley&Muscle fell in the hands of this guy, who was all about Michael Jackson and James Brown, and never wanted to touch House music, changed things forever. Raisani Records was born and is Middle East’s first independent House record label.
Operating from a tiny office on Sheikh Zayed Street, Raisani has become a key player in dance music scene, attracting some of the greatest talents to Dubai from the industry, trumping the others with quality Deep House Dj’s, glamorous venues and media attention. In 1 short year, this independent label has gone some way to achieving label boss Haneef Raisani’s vision of an imprint worthy to follow the steps of artists that inspired him most, from Harley&Muscle to Roy Davis Jr and Marshall Jefferson.

The story started a year ago when founder Haneef Raisani,24, born in DUBAI with a passion for deep house, realized after his efforts in bringing all those quality house record labels/music in town for the past 4 years and working with over 1000’s of record labels, DJs, producers, clubs, promoters around the world, he is highly respected by all of them in the industry and looking at other cities where quality labels emerged from, Haneef saw the vision for his home town and it didn’t take him much time to push the button of his vision.
Raisani Records is an extension of Haneef’s other projects, Raisani Entertainment and Raisani Artist Management which has been bringing over some of the world’s best deep house DJs for the past three years. Haneef’s latest mix CD, produced and released under Raisani Records along with Danny Marquez of Ibiza, is already making noise in both local and international media like Timeout, DJ Mag (UK), BPM (USA, Trust the DJ (UK), EQ (USA) Bild (Germany) and it just goes on. The CD is distributed & marketed worldwide through Clubstar Records Germany and Haneef was surprised when a local DJ called him and said “Well done, I just saw your CD in a record store in Venezuela”.
