Friday the 3rd of August, Electronation will host the second edition of the international club night in the UK, which will take place at The Egg in London. Their arena at Dance Valley in Holland tore the roof off recently, with guests like Oliver Huntemann b2b Stefan Bodzin, Oxia, Agoria, Gabriel Ananda and Mason confirming their status as one of Europe’s most exciting, cutting-edge electronic music promotions.

For Friday the 3rd of August at the Egg, Electronation will have foreign influence in the line-up from “Mister Italo-house” Alexander Robotnick (Hot Elephant Music & Creme Organization, Italy), who has been around since the ‘80s and has a remarkable history of quality productions and a huge diversity in musical projects and bands.

Freeform Five (DJ-Set, UK) – the multi-national, multi-talented formation have received critical acclaim for their releases and remixed for the likes of N.E.R.D, Justin Timberlake, X-Press 2 to name a few. For this episode of ElectroNation they will rock the house with their DJ-Set.

Mount Sims (International Gigolo Records, USA) will also perform and will guarantee to keep the people dancing with his infectious mix of Techno, Electro and Punk. Mount Sims began as an early teenager trying to fuse electronics and live music. Involved in bands ranging in styles from electronic noise, new wave, to pop rock, Mount Sims continued to develop as a musician, learning how to play more than 23 different instruments, and touring the world many times. Later on, he slowly began on a mission to fuse two music styles that were taboo to fuse. Electro and punk. Spending a year in a closet converted into a studio, he began to record his erotic fantasies of electro sex, calling this sound “technosexual” music.

The Dutch scene will be represented by Terry Toner (Electronation). He is resident DJ for Electronation and also one of the rising stars in the Dutch scene.

The upper room will be hosted by the London based organisation D-Late who will present their talents in the form of RichNxt (resident), Arnaud LeTexier (Safari Electronique) and Alex Corr (Overtone). These locals are sure to bring the party down, see you there!

The Egg also features London’s biggest and most gorgeous outdoor terrace and smoking area – perfect for balmy summer nights that are predicted for the first weekend in June!

“I’ve played for Electronation in Amsterdam before and it was a great party. Roy is a true promoter with a real passion for music and vision for what he does, and those are the kind of promoters I like to be associated with.” – Anu, Freeform Five

“Do I think crowds in Holland and England are similar? It’s Europe. Club people are very similar everywhere. In Holland the audience is even more receptive to Italo and electro-disco than in England. Anyway in both countries they are very open-minded and curious and indeed very often ready to listen to something different as long as it’s good. This is the reason why I’ve always had fun working in UK and Holland. I played many times in London throughout the last 4 years. This is my second gig at the Egg.” – Alexander Robotnick
