Face in June with Edu Imbernon, Pol On and Kabale Und

    Liebe

After an inner city beach party, all nighter and charity

Mustachio party last month, the Midlands’ finest weekend

gathering goes hard again in June. They host Edu

Imbernon as part of Electric Carnival on June 4th. The

young gun also spins at places like the Zoo Project and

Privilege and is one of the youngest artists to ever have a

record in Beatport’s Top 100 and also regularly tops

Resident Advisor’s DJ charts for his original productions on

trendy labels like Liebe*Detail, whilst Kabale Und Liebe is

the main draw on June 11th . He is currently sweeping

dancefloors across Europe with his compelling live and DJ

performances. Blending the old with the new and the

minimalistic with the soulful, Kabale und Liebe has created

a sound that appeals to techno-freaks and house-heads

alike, his growing popularity marking a new era of

approach between the two scenes. Pol_On closes out the

month on June 25th. The pair began playing parties

together in 2007 and quickly discovered a shared musical

vision. Over time, they developed their sound, eventually

leading to interest from 3 Channels Records. They released

their first single “Ranom” in April 2009, then came the EP

for Outils Du Connaisseur, as well as releases for Get

Physical Music and Mothership Records, with their friends

Catz n’ Dogz. Expect nothing short of a tasty refined house

sound from the pair, then. Looking further ahead there is

Catz & dogz and Julio Bashmore playing next month as well

as another huge event in association with Cream Classics…

June 4th – Face (part of Electric Carnival. Full line-up

    Edu Imbernon

As part of the Electric Carnival (9k people, +80 DJs and

across half of Digbeth) Face have been asked to throw a

party… of course, they were delighted to oblige and have

their international resident Edu Imbernon headlining. Just

20 years old, Spanish man Edu is a resident out at Space in

Ibiza, has recently moved to Berlin and is the owner of

Eklektisch, his own record label which is regularly

supported by artists like Gregor Tresher, Danny Tenaglia

and Gabriel Ananda and has released himself as an artist

on labels like Great Stuff, Noir Music, Cr2 records.

The young gun also spins at places like the Zoo Project and

Privilege and is one of the youngest artists to ever have a

record in Beatport’s Top 100 and also regularly tops

Resident Advisor’s DJ charts for his original productions on

    trendy labels like Liebe*Detial.

June 11th – Kabale Und Liebe

While Amsterdam is rising to fame as a hotbed for young

techno talent, one of its greatest new ambassadors is

gaining grounds accordingly. Not only has Kabale und Liebe

    – amongst other smashing releases – produced one of the

greatest clubhits of the decade. He is currently sweeping

dancefloors across Europe with his compelling live and Dj

performances. Blending the old with the new and the

minimalistic with the soulful, Kabale und Liebe has created

a sound that appeals to technofreaks and househeads

alike, his growing popularity marking a new era of

    approach between the two scenes.

    June 18th – TBA

Headliner to be announced but Face residents are as tidy

as they come so whichever star of the underground tops

the list, you can rely on plenty of great house and techno

    action from the regulars.

    June 25th – Pol_On

Polish exports Pol_On are comprised of Kacper Bogacz and

Michal Piotrowski. Kacper is a graduate of the Academy of

Jazz Music in Katowice and a respected Jazz musician whilst

Michal is one of the key players in Warsaw’s Techno/House

club scene having had a stake in top events, festival

    bookings and productions for years.

The pair began playing parties together in 2007 and quickly

discovered a shared musical vision. Over time, they

developed their sound, eventually leading to interest from
