    soWHAT records is proud to release FANGA by Hillary Sargeant. This unique track embodies live organic instrumentation, from African/Caribbean dru< ?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />mming & percussion, all the way to Middle Eastern textures driven forward by the Oud (Arabic stringed instrument).

    UPZ aka United People of Zion provide house interpretations in the form of the UPZ Organic Mix rhythmically expanding on the live feel of the original. UPZ then take the track to deeper and darker territory with the UPZ Witchcraft Mix, having Hillary lay down further chants and vocals to this and the drum mix, further complementing both track’s feel.

    UPZ’s Drum Mix sees Hillary back in her homeland of Trinidad & Tobago to record Tamba Gwindie , one of the country’s top percussionist, to add his West Indian flavour to the infectious drum groove. Topping off the package is Hillary’s Original Mix, showcasing her convicting vocal and powerful lyrics.
