    Spirit Of Drums (Sumo Remixes)

    Disorient

Sumo employ their trademark Afro-housed vibe on

this pair of dancefloor enthralling re-rubs for the

mighty Lonesome Echo outfit. The Afro Bounce‚

version sees a fanfared afro-brassed intro make way

for hi-speed guitar strums and slaps, Africanism

style intricate drumming and commanding vocals.

The Rebounce places a strutting guitar over

    tension-building percussion and a subbed-up

    bounding bassline. jon freer

    Project Orange

‘The Game’ (Feat Mark Knight & MTV Remix)

    DTPM Recordings

Uber Hertfordshire house outfit Project Orange aka

Scott Franey & Danny Keith have been producing

together for about 3 years under various guises. This

spring sees them unleash a scorching latin

flavoured floor smashing Project Orange debut for

DTPM Recordings complete with a storming twisted

remix from hot production duo Mark Knight & Martijn

Ten Velden, deemed to blow the pants off both UK

and Ibizan dancefloors alike! The Game kicks off

with a punchy, demanding vocal sample enticing you

listen to the rules of the game and dance, followed

by a flurry hot funk fuelled percussive beats under a

driving bass. It gently builds into a gorgeous

balearic guitar breakdown exploding into a loco latin

frenzy, packed with soaring twisted synth waves,

electrifying drums an incessant spoken word hook

encouraging all to charge around in a Speedy

Gonzales fashion! DTPM veterans Mark Knight and

Martijn Ten Velden reveal a meaty tribal edged

percussivetastic inferno of a remix brazen with all the

necessary goods in order to pump that floor just a

little bit harder! Adding a deeper tech flavour to the

    Da Lata

    Can It Be?

    Palm Beats

Easily the highlight of their multiculturally conscious

second artist album, Can It Bemay not quite have the

hip-shaking appeal of the single Serious, but it is

more likely to make a lasting impression. The

Album Version lets barely believing vocals and

soothing guitars ride sticky fractured percussion.

Hot production outfit Spiritual Souths Future Boogie

Mix is the version for the dancefloor, courtesy of

some banged out beats, compressed synths and

some psychedelic keys. Da Lata‚s own Shelly Mix is

not a tribute to a sometime Reel People vocalist, but

named after a miniscule string instrument that

contributes jumping strums to this wobbly

    synth-addled version. jon freer
