5th April 2008
Filth continues it’s transformation into one of the north’s premier Club Nights for underground music by proudly announcing their April event of massive proportions.
On Saturday 5th April we will welcome the global and International superstar Wally Lopez for the biggest Filth in Leeds to date. A long-time favourite at dance festivals and clubs alike, the talented DJ, producer and label-manager of La Factoria Records is at the forefront of the scene, and we look forward to hearing his distinctive house sounds. Recently nominated in the DJ Mag Top 100 Wally continues to go from strength to strength. Filth welcome him to Leeds to give us a night not to be missed.
Ably assisting our headliner will be the enormously respected Ingo Starr, who rose to fame and recognition through his astounding performances at Sankey’s and Ministry of Sound. His consistently excellent electro sets have earned him tours of the UK and Europe and applause from a number of big name DJs. Wally and Ingo will be joined by the rising talent and future star, Boy8Bit, who has already been recognised as having huge potential. A big hit with DJ’s such as KissySellOut, The Loose Cannons, Herve and Sinden and Annie Mac, his eclectic sets (fusing anything from electro to house to new skool Baltimore house) have produced exciting reactions from crowds. These three are sure to deliver!
Joining Filth at the Afterparty, HeavyFeet fit a trip to Leeds into their busy schedule. A favourite of Micky Slim, Switch and Sinden and have just completed a guestmix for Kiss Fm and are working on a brand new album; These guys will be big! Expect all things wobbly, fidgety and beastly in electro with plenty of fun on top.
Rounding off April’s fantastic line-up will be our favourite local boys, Dale Castell and Eddie Zaneti. Having put in fantastic performances over the last year, these two are at the forefront of the local electro scene, and are definitely stars of the future.
With a broad music policy combining everything from House, to Tech house, Electro to Balitimore house and new skool Thug House there’s sure to be something for everyone as Filth put on one of their biggest parties to date. With so much to offer, it simply must not be missed!
