Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun? We can’t believe a year has almost passed and that February 2nd is the 1st birthday for one of the UK’s most exciting young parties!
Filth celebrates its birthday with a truly fierce line-up for a two part wonkathon featuring none other than Jonathan Ulysses and Out of Office as headliners, it’s a hidden little gem to contend with. Also headlining Part 1 is Cr2 records newest talent Danny Freakazoid. Known for his outstanding production work as much as he’s loved for his enthusiastic behaviour behind the decks, his filthily smooth grooves have bought him attention from A-listers all over the world. When the people behind Filth say it’s time to celebrate and party then it is something not to be missed.
Already some of the best DJs have graced the decks in Leeds and Filth has developed a hugely loyal crowd of dedicated up for it ravers from all over the north. We always thought Filth would be good, but this good?! It’s exceeded all expectations and quite simply has firmly established itself as one of the best nights around, cramming so much atmosphere into a small space!
The prospect of the birthday has already got us really excited – we can’t wait! And for this party the line up is outstanding so we expect you to make an effort!
Special guest is Ibiza and Space legend Jonathan Ulysses. It’s huge news to have this star at the birthday and we can’t wait to get Jonathan into the intimate confines of the Mint Club. Famed for his Space Terrace sets, Jonathan is one of the true masters of filthy house and electro. He’s developed a reputation as one of the leading exponents of the new wave of electro DJs and producers who have taken the sound into the new millennium. Jonathan is just as devastating behind the decks in England as he is in Ibiza so expect him to bring a little bit of sunshine into your life.
Joining Jonathan for this special birthday will be new kid on the block Danny Freakazoid. His production is one of the most talked about on the scene and since he signed for Cr2 last year he has produced dancefloor destroyer after dancefoor destroyer. His DJ sets are something else too, as he mixes with pure emotion and a tightness that delivers such a powerful punch. All your usual Filth residents will be in attendance bringing you some real birthday shenanigans. This is one party not to be missed.
Part 2 of this birthday celebration will be followed at Wire where up and coming DJ’s Out of Office. They have twice been Pete Tong’s essential new tune for ‘Hands Up and ‘Break of Dawn’ and will take you through their dark and twisted minds to the early hours on Sunday morning.
