This month Fingerprint brings you an underground DJ and

producer who regularly spinds at Berlin’s best clubs, Mark

Henning.

London’s Mark Henning has risen up as one of the

underground’s true players – recording for a volley of

acclaimed international labels. He released his debut album

on the legendary UK institute Soma Recordings in the

summer of 2008 to great acclaim and his sound sit

somewhere between house and techno, with a healthy dose

of groove, funk, swing, deepness and wierdness – all the

required ingredients to make people freak out and bust

crazy moves on the dance floor.

His tracks have been licensed to recent BUGGED OUT,

FABRIC and M-NUS compilations as well as achieving

regular airplay on radio stations worldwide. He’s a much

respected producer in the scene and his records have been

supported and played out regularly over the past few years

by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Akufen, Steve

Bug, Loco Dice and Richie Hawtin

Brad Parkins and Iain Dixon are also on hand to supply

some more of what they do best: house and tech rhythms

for the heel and head alike.

The loft like Spektrum with its killer sound system, low

ceiling and disco panel above the dance floor is an intimate

venue which bounces every month. The crowd are a fine

mix of party and music lovers and so Fingerprint is

essential clubbing for any electronic music fan.
