Nic & Kaleb (Zoo Project)

Glimpse’ career to date has already seen him become one
of the most in-demand artists in his field. His first releases,
back in 2005, under the ‘Spero’ alias, appeared on
Leftroom and on his own Glimpse Recordings label.
By 2008, Glimpse had established himself as one of the
UK’s most innovate and exciting new electronic acts,
becoming one of the key acts in Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom
stable and also releasing his ‘Black Collections’ album in
Asia, leading to two sell out live tours in Japan.
Now in 2009 Glimpse can look back at a career defining
year where he has truly raised his game to a new level.
Opening up the year with the ‘Drifting’ EP on Planet E,
Glimpse has delivered release after killer release – ‘La
Cocina del Cabron’ with Lee Van Dowski on Cadenza, the
‘True Friends’ collaboration with Alex Jones on Kindisch,
‘Things Like This’ (Buzzin Fly), and the upcoming ‘It’s The
Little Things’ (Boxer).
His hypnotising, multi-dimensional live set is melodic and
organic, incorporating deep, layered Detroit influences with
deep house and more jacking elements. Having already
toured Japan and North America this year, October now
see’s him come Manchesters very own Spektrum.
Nic & Kaleb also play tonight, a world away from the Zoo
Project in Ibiza where they are residents. Playing at that
party as regular as this pair does is no mean feat
considering they warm up for the likes of Seth Troxler,
Jamie Jones, Reboot and more. Prepare to get lost in a
blend of meandering house and techno which will warm you
through on an Autumn evening.
