There is a special element that comes with parties that
cater to the curious and open-minded, and with the new generation of LGTB being
unafraid to explore in co-ed environments, it becomes that much more
interesting. One of the most promising of these new experimental mixers comes
from the same folks that brought you the always sexy Brazilian ALMA parties.
Muzikbutrfly, Manchildblack and their mighty dance massive have met the
need for a party that represents the full spectrum of the community,
particularly people of color, whose hues aren’t necessarily represented in the
rainbow flag.

This month, the sexy co-ed soiree begins a new chapter by moving to popular
west village nightspot, Luke & Leroy. This new location also brings
about a new day and time. The party will be jumpin’ off on the last Friday
of the month, August 26th, from 10pm-4am.

Resident, DJ True (ALMA NYC), will be rockin’ the house with special guest,
Jeannie Hopper. Jeannie is best known for her long running radio show
Liquid Sound Lounge on WBAI and her independent record label of the same name.
You can catch her dj’ing around New York and globetrotting all over the
world bringing the underground scenes together as a musical ambassador and
cultural activist.

Together True and Jeannie will be spinning all things soulful from House, Funk
and Hip-Hop to Latin, Dub and R&B.
