Digital Society brings Trance back to Leeds, in the citys most intimate
venue, Myhouse. This time Trance music has evolved. A more progressive,
more techier edge alongside, the traditional melodic sounds has emerged.
Digital Society aims to offer a new haven to scratch beneath the more
obvious levels of the genre, and explore the wider spectrum of the music.
Europe’s most exciting talent, the UKs finest artists, the freshest UK
debuts, and the best up and coming talent in the area will grace the
turntables on the second friday of each and every month.

Friday the 9th of Febuary 2007 will see the launch party of Digital Society
@ MyHouse, Leeds, West Yorkshire. With 2 stunning UK debuts in the shape of
Belgian shining star Jonas Steur and the highly rated Leon Bolier from the
Netherlands, this is a party that can not be missed. Joining our guests are
fellow headliners, talented dj/producer Activa and label owner Will Holland
who kicks off his Digital Society residency with an Enhanced Recordings
album launch. In addition to this star roster, residents Kane Nelson and
Glen Roberts complete thelineup at Leeds most intimate venue. Get ready for
a truely unforgettable night.

State Of Trance 250′ party, on top of stunning production work with
Intuition Recordings and as ‘Estuera’ on Black Hole Recordings, what better
way for Digital Society to kick off in 2007, than to showcase one of the

now, and our second exclusive UK debutant Leon Bolier, is certainly that.
Leon has been setting dancefloors on fire across the world with his unique
blend of styles, ranging from sweet Progressive sounds, huge Trance anthems
right through to pumping Techno beats. 2006 saw Leon feature at the eye
catching ‘Amsterdam Dance Event’ alongside Armada stars Armin Van Buuren,
Markus Schulz and Signum, to name but a few. Countless high quality
productions & remixes on labels such as Armada,Spinnin Records and Intuition
Recordings have made Leon Bolier a name to remember. Leon plays the music he

Enhanced Recordings boss Will Holland launches his Digital Society residency
with an Enhanced Recordings album launch.’Digitally Enhanched: volume one’
showcases both styles of the Enhanced label, and the label boss will be
doing just that at the Digital Society launch party. Will Holland has been
in the Trance scene for many years, playing all over the UK and across the
world. Will spent several years as promoter at Gatecrasher also holding a
residency with the legendary club, and has featured at nights such as
Passion, Goodgreef, Slinky and Wildchild. Will Holland is also known for his
up front production work, quality remixes and producer collaborations which
have featured on the Enhanced Recordings label amongst others. As recognised
at the 2006 Trance Awards, Will’s fresh sound of Progressive & uplifting
Trance will be an instant hit with the Digital Society crowd.

Rob Stevenson, commonly known as Activa, is fast becoming one of the most
popular up&coming djs in the UK. With the success of Conspiracy Recorings,
the record label Rob set up with Jon O’bir, and playing at superpowers like
Passion and Gatecrasher in 2006, Rob’s stock continues to rise. We are proud
to annouce Activa as the final act of an amazing headline cast. Activa
productions currently appear on almost every credible dj tracklist in
trance, including releases under alias’ like Substate, Solar Movement,
Astralis, Eluna and Mekk. We will see the tougher side of Activas impressive
style at this Digital Society launch party, and this really is a performance
not to miss from a UK star of the future.

Its been a busy 18 months for new Digital Society resident/promoter Kane
Nelson, dj’ing right across the north of England at nights such as
NuCrasher, Home, and Pressure, to name but a few . Featuring on the roster
with the likes of Bryan Kearney, Mark Pledger and Andy Bagguley at his own
events in Sheffield (including the popular Crasher AfterParties) have been
notable highlights, along with playing on GalaxyFM’s renowed Nubreed radio
show hosted by Riley & Durrant. Kane’s ability to play at anytime, warmup or
peak, means he can showcase both ends of the Trance spectrum throughout his
residency with Digital Society. On launch night, resident Kane Nelson will
close this party like no other can.

Digital Society resident/promoter Glen Roberts musical tastes cover
everything from House, Prog, Tech, Trance & Hard House. Glen opens the
Digital Society launch party in stunning fashion with a Prog Trance set of
the highest order. After playing warmup to djs such as, AJ Gibson, John
Kelly, Scott Bond, Karim & Ilogik it means his experience of building an
atmosphere in any situation, is an important and well regarded string to his
bow. Glen has featured at nights including Kemistry and Exstatic in recent
times, and his residency with Digital Society is very much, the start of
something special.

Radioactive and Funk Deluxe host Room2 for the jilted generation of filthy
Electro House music lovers all over the UK. This is simply for the people
who like their beats chunky, twisted and downright sleazy. Truely an
experience to leave you wasted on the dance floor as you party on through to
the small hours of the morning. Funk Deluxe host House events right across
the UK and have a reputation that goes with such an achievement. Radioactive
are a Yorkshire based Electro House outfit that has burst onto the Leeds
scene in recent times. These two brands come together for the first time to
add yet another reason to come to an already incredible night.
