Excellent selection of fine House Cuts for this second album on Gotta Keep Faith! 18 traxx of pure pleasure. Enjoy!

The Second Volume of DEEPY GROOVES seems to be more interesting of previous.
The Album contains 18 tracks, a mix of some ‘unreleased’ tunes and some ‘already heard’ song.
It starts with the return of young Joey a.k.a. Jozsef Keller and a new unreleased song.
Blaq Jaq is a new artist for Gotta Keep Faith, and spreads some really good vibes here with three new, unreleased and exclusive tracks!!!
Once again our friends of Next Dimension Music have licensed some tracks, by Jeremias Santiago, Joseph and Henry Maldonado from New York City.
Phoenix Lo, Steve Paradise and Alex Garcia are all from Italy and present some new projects as Georg Neufeld, Nu Larisa Soul, Spiritual Blessings and Mr. Fuzz. Close this authentic pearl, some remixes by Deep Y’All aka Dj Rico, Carl Michael, The Insatiables.

Comments: House of Beige–I love it. The rolling bassline and higher tempo brings out the dancer in your soul, along with the live drums. I can see this working well during the second hour of a set, or leading up to peak hour with the right vocal acapella! Guitar Fever–very smooth; the kind of song i would play late night at a sushi bar. The second half of the song is also suited for mixing into, with the intoxicating guitar plucks. The vocals to “Into My Life (You Bring The Sunshine) might go very well with that portion. Boogie Break–Another very smooth piano bar/sushi bar piece. If I had to pitch a mixtape to a local late-night restaurant to DJ at their venue, I would weave a song like this into it. Play My Bells–if I run a French House night, this might be the perfect track to start the night off! It has elements of Acid House, which also makes this suitable for the very end of the night as people wind down. Blaq Jaq–has a solid beat. I’ve done live piano House se ssions before, and these kinds of tracks work really well for that, as the pianist get piano-free percussion to work with. Muito Bem–there is a strong Brazilian & Portuguese population in my city, and I have a number of great portuguese House tracks. This will fit very well in my collection–and it even has a subtle “peak hour feel” to it, so it works as a great transition track. City Samba–this track has a particularly metro-cultural appeal. It will work well as a dancefloor warmer, as well as in a hip coffee shop or martini setting. That Something–by far my favorite track. This is something I would play during every one of my Funky House sets. It has all the elements of success: catchy groove, memorable lyrical hook, space-retro sound effects (which takes people to a good place), and has a crossover appeal (for the disco lovers and the breakdancers and House dancers alike). Superb! Back To The Old School–a keeper. Great for filling up the dancefloor in th e early parts of the night, and will also work for a solid House Dancer mixtape. Barcelona–this track won me over with the bassline chord progression that starts at 1:30. ★Danny Dance&#9733

Comments: Wow, there’s a lot of tracks here – some of which I’ll try to give feedback on – doubting I could do for all, but all I shall listen to…here goes: THE SUN UP – only to be played during sunset! It starts off promising but the bass line seems mediocre as far as it being close to anything funky, groovy or juicy. HOUSE OF BEIGE – perfect beginning again, and the percussion is so overwhelming, the bass is hiding but it’s ok, this is sexy, to say the least. Favorite so far. GUITAR FEVER – the title is so perfect! This is a jam session! BOOGIE BREAK (Slightly Scared Boy Remix) – when the jazzy groove jumps in to skip from side-to-side, it picks up some excitement, then the trumpets sort of downplay it into this loungey and spacey atmosphere and it just lost me…for a little KEEP YOUR MIND FREE – can’t explain it, but the tones in this reminds me of the days of Shannon, Noel and Cover Girls, in the Bronx. Something about the feel seems old school disco/new wave/hip-hop. RELEASE THE BEAUTY 2009 (Carl Michael Re-Work) – Sexy, pretty and complete inside and out, like someone you’d want to marry this track seems well-rounded, feeling the variety here on this effort. Couldn’t hear Illuminate (25th Power Re-Work). MUITO BEM – definitely most interesting… CITY SAMBA (Sao Paulo Remix) – starting off so great, I am scared it’s gonna disappoint me. Those chords were PERFECT, just needed my high to not be killed and as the song proceeds, my high is at this standstill. Never got taken to the moon, which I was hoping to. THAT SOMETHING – dance-a-thon right here! Repetitive (at times a bit too much of the hook repeats for my liking but…) sometimes it can make it even better! I could see the effect of this, most definitely a hot jam! BARCELONA (The Insatiables Remix) – take me here please! C’mon, I’m feeling the first impression in the intro for the first 2 mins, I want to get to the streets to feel the pulse of the city, but so far this groove is kee ping me inside…
