Forse nel mondo odierno, pieno di gente creativa e con la voglia matta di personalizzare tutto ad ogni costo, anche il djing ha subito[senza conseguenze letali] questa “schiavitù di scoperte dell’io”. Sta di fatto che il dj ha sempre giocato e si è sempre divertito con i cosiddetti TOOLS : amati, odiati, idolatrati..insomma,sicuramente fanno la loro gran figura se abbinati ad una base particolare o se la base particolare è abbinata ad un buon tools. Stà di fatto che il caro Grant Nelson[http://www.grantnelson.co.uk],”the Godfather of UK “, dopo aver fatto faville con il suo bootleghino strasuonato a Miami [G’S – Feeling the Light], ha trovato addirittura il tempo per realizzare questa raccolta di tools fra accapelle, loops, one shot vocals hits ecc…

Lo stesso Grant, nella cover di dietro, ci dice testuali parole ” All of the 2 minutes loop have been laid down at 127 bpm – once you’ve got one of the loops in, the whole album is ready to use” ovvero come è riuscito a semplificare la funzionalità di un loop[a 127 bpm] per far in modo che il loop seguente,ovvero quello dell’altro album, sia già pronto per l’uso.
