Sona is an producer from South London. Sona has established a good
following from his music style, renowned for his hard bass lines and
intricate drum patterns. Sona is surrounding himself with many talented
individual alike, in search of a professional music career with
longevity. Genres of music he has produced include: Hip-Hop, House,
Grime, 2-Step, Garage, Drum & Bass and R&B. Sona currently has
a compilation CD out entitled “Subway Volume 1†available from his
myspace page. Sona works closely with a UK vocalist Rebecca Williams
AKA RB. Rebecca recorded a version of Sona’s hit track “The Abyss”
which gained much credit from listeners. Sona is now well know for
remixes such as Teedra Moses – Backstroke (UK Garage Cut); which was
played by ‘Seani B, an established DJ from BBC 1XTRA radio, Corinne
Bailey Rae – Trouble Sleeping Remix, Cassie – Me & U (UK Garage
Remix) played by DJ Streaky on Freeze 92.7 FM, Terri Walker – L.O.V.E
(2-Step Remix) and Ceresia – Boy Like You (R&B Artist from United
states, florida). Sona’s recent branch out into the UK Hip-hop scene
has seen the new track “Spiritually Guided” get some good feedback,
strengthening his future prospects. The track produced by Sona,
features 2 up & coming UK rappers “IV AKA Calmboi” & “Charga” ,
both from South London. Sona’s pursuit of respect in the music industry
saw him entering into JME’s Tropical Remix Competition winning a runner
up prize. Sona’s two newest projects include a speed garage track
called “Go Getter” which will feature the UMA award winning artist
Snakeyman and a uptempo hip hop track called “Crosses” inspired by Jose
Gonzalez which will feature the legendary garage MC, Vapour. To be
frank, The future looks bright for this artist so keep your eyes &
ears peeled!
