    Hi,

    I’m new ons this forum here’s a short bio of who i’m:

    Kevin Huizing a.k.a. Budakid is a Tilburg based music producer.

    By growing up in a musical family music naturally took an important place in his life. After playing the drums in a drum-ensemble, electronic music caught his attention. At the age of 15 he discovered his huge talent for DJing & producing and from that time he first started exploring the jungle of dance music.

    Starting out as a DJ at small parties his motto was: “You need to start somewhere, it doesn’t matter if you play for a small group of people. You need to try to make that night the best night they ever had!”. In 2007 he became a resident DJ at Club Monza (Utrecht) and that soon turned out to be his kick-start into the music industry.

    In 2012 Budakid played at the Solar Festival, 013 and the Effenaar among many other events across the Netherlands. After graduating as a graphic designer in 2012 he decided to study music production at the Rockacademy in Tilburg: ”I think this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it will give me the tools to develop my talent”.

    Heavily influenced by music of among others: Floating Points, Todd Terje and Stimming he created a brand new wave of electronic dance music by blending disco, house and soul music with tech- and deephouse together. With the combination of funky grooves and golden chords he developed his very own recognizable sound and
    his trademark of a strong atmosphere of positive vibes mashed into a steady groove will make any crowd move.

    With his music already supported by Michel de Hey, Dixon, Sander van Doorn and Klankarbeit and releases on HiFi Stories, Gastspiel-, Le Mans-, and Big Flu Recordings Budakid is the one to keep an eye on!
