“FUNKY HOUSEY NIGHT”

Our second night is another Funky house infested date. This one promises to be a little more housey than the opening night, and a little tougher. MYSOUL, featured in the MIXES SECTION, continues where he left off, and warms things up, with his usual high energy persona and tunage. JOEY B then flies in from Ireland to bring his own original style of chunky, sometimes summery, and sometimes funky house music. Expect loads of DEFECTED, CLASSIC and the like from the man, on his UK debut. LUCIUS LOWE then pops down from the north of England, to give the crowd a taste of his brand of twisted funky house, with plenty of his own productions thrown in for good measure. CD copies of the QUEEP(ORGANIC)MIX VOL.2 will also be given out to clubbers on leaving the basement club on this night, in a way of celebrating this new fixture. The mix contains a dj set of various house productions already featured in the 12″ Artists Section here on the main QUEEP (ORGANIC) MUSIC website. LUCIUS LOWE does the mixing honours again on volume 2 in the series.
*******If you are a DJ or a House Artist/part of a House act, and you like the idea of playing at one of our gigs, pop down on any of the Thursday nights and speak to GP or Damien, drop off a cd, with a bit of info about yourself, and clearly legible contact info on the cd itself. We will ask for a second mix if we like the first one, so it may be handy to bring down copies of two of your mixes/live sets, and give us a better idea of your skills straight away, and we could give a definite answer a lot quicker. We are still looking to book a few people in a few specific slots over the next 8 weeks, and are looking for particular styles to bridge the gaps that need to be filled very soon*******
