About Galen
Galen discovered his love for House music in 1992, deep in the clubs of the San Francisco underground as a DJ. He created PacificSound System in 1994, and his legendary Sunset Parties began. His collective and events bring together thousands of dancers, soulful dance music, and the beautiful sunsets of California. When he is not throwing Sunset events, he is in the studio producing music with multiple labels including Dirtybird Records, or performing in clubs and events all over the world. Galen discovered his passion for music at an early age playing guitar, trumpet, clarinet, flute, keyboard, and doing vocals. He is inspired by 80’s bands like Depeche Mode, Yello, Prince, and Gary Numan. His sound is soulful with a Techno vibe.
