    Hi everyone.

I am a little out of my element here….I am new to this board and from the US. I am a huge house music fan from days gone by and even though I will be 40 in a few years, I miss those days late night in Chicago. I actually got to dance at a late night party (where I do not remember) in Chicago when Frankie Knuckles was spinning and was unknown but had been a pioneer for about 3 years.

I am an old school fan, but I wanted to post to see if anyone could help me out.

One of my favorite songs from the days is a Fast Eddie/Sundance song called “Git on Up”/ I used to have the 12”, but it is long gone. I have a really poor quality .mp3, and I would love to know if anyone has her lyrics to this track–I still live in Chicago, so when I play this, it would be a thrill to know everything she is saying. Let me know if you can help me out.

What I can offer anyone here is the following: I was a DJ in Madison, WI wen I was in college and played a few small clubs. I still have my 12″ and some I have managed to convert to MP3s. If you are looking for a hard to find song, try me, I might have it….I had Wax Trax, etc. to shop at back then and may have it.

    P
