Dutchman Funkerman teamed up with friend Raf and fellow

Dutch DJ/producer Fedde le Grand to create Flamingo

Recordings, a house and electronic-tech label that is

currently one of the hottest imprints in the world. Over the

past 4 years Funkerman and Flamingo Recordings have

been behind such hits as Put Your Hands Up For Detroit,

The Creeps, Speed Up and 3 Minutes To Explain. Not only

that but, as far as DJ diaries go, Funkerman’s is fit to

bursting point so much in demand are his skills for

    controlling a dance floor.

Perhaps best known for his hit record I Wish You Would,

Martijn Ten Velden’s been at the forefront of the house and

minimal/electro scene for the most-part of the noughties

and has had hits on labels like Toolroom Trax, Nocturnal

    Groove and more.

MYNC brand name is the creation of CR2 label boss Mark

Brown. MYNC have been rocking dance floors for the last

10 years. As well as the 4 deck 2 mixer combo traditionally

used in MYNC’s trademark sets, the House music collective

have incorporated an extra dimension to their

performances utilizing 2 laptops and 2 Traktor Audio 8

boxes creating a live element to their shows, twisting pre

recorded sounds, samples and a capellas, into the mix.

With a new album just released on CR2’s – Live & Direct

series mixed by MYNC, Harry Choo Choo Romero & Jose

Nunez which you can find in the shops now.

DBN, a mash-up of three artists, musicians and DJs with a

musical background and experience of DJing for over 15

years, they started together to produce own tracks in 2004

and have remixed the likes of John Dahlback and have had

international releases on labels like WePLAY, Ministry Of

Sound, Paradise, Joia, Pickadoll, Defected and Positiva.

If you can’t wait for all that, though, don’t fear – get

yourself a copy of the Kinky compilation mixed by Kid

Massive to tide you over and get you in the mood!
