Having celebrated it’s 3rd Birthday in style with a packed house and

brilliant live and DJ sets from the great and the good of underground

Hip-Hop talent from both sides of the pond The Doctor’s Orders is

back once again to give London’s faithful heads another dose of

uncut party flavours. Once again we have an incredible line up of

talent who will guarantee there is no place to hide. If you are looking

for a quite night out this ain’t it!

When it comes to favourite producers Large Professor will feature

near the top of any self respecting Hip-Hop head’s list. Having cut his

teeth programming beats for Eric B & Rakim while still in school he

went on to discover a young mc named Nasty Nas who’s first ever

recorded appearance was on Main Source’s “Live At The Barbeque”.

As one third of Main Source Large Professor produced their

legendary “Breaking Atoms” which included the classic “Looking At

The Front Door” which always causes a stir on The Doctor’s Orders

dance-floor. Having parted ways with the other members of Main

Source he went on to an notable solo career of his own as well as

producing for any MC worth their salt including Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip

& Big Daddy Kane. When not locked in the lab or trading tips with

fellow production legend DJ Premier Large Pro’ keeps busy by

rocking clubs around the world with his exciting sets of any kind of

Hip-Hop & Soul that he feels will rock the crowd!

We celebrate the launch of Large Professor’s first studio album in 5

years with this exclusive UK show. “Main Source” is the new album

produced for new Gold Dust imprint which is also home to Price Paul,

People Under The Stairs & more. The new album features the talents

of Jeru The Damaja, Lil Dap, Big Noyd & AZ. The fact that Large Pro

and the label have decided to celebrate the launch of this new project

with us at The Doctor’s Orders is a mark of how highly this night and

the London scene is rated across the water. We will be sure not to

disappoint!

Performing live downstairs is J-Sands of underground favourites Lone

Catalysts. This Baltimore native is guaranteed to be bringing an

exciting show displaying his lyrical skills as he grabs the attention of

every person in the venue with his distinctive delivery and presence

on stage.

As ever the man with the plan Spin Doctor will be treating his home

fans to another sure fire Hip-Hop party set downstairs. Fast becoming

the main attraction over and above their high profile guests Spin has

mastered the blend of tunes old and new that gets this dedicated

crowd of party heads up & dancing each & every time. He is joined

by another London stalwart Dan Greenpeace, famed for his radio

shows, mixtapes alongside DJ Yoda and a serious player on the

scene through his label All-City and management of acts like Sway

his first love is rocking clubs and he is guaranteed to be doing that

tonight.

Upstairs we are keeping things soulful with Push FM’s Martin Lodge

digging back into his inspiration for his house productions as Candy

Apple as he digs for the Disco & Boogie classics that stirred his

creative juices that have seen him become a serious player on the

London Soulful house scene. Warming things up on the first floor is

long time Doctor’s Orders associate Andy Bird. A dedicated soul boy

he will be bringing stacks of Salsoul for those who wanna shake their

asses and wave theirs hands!
