LAST NIGHT A DJ SAVED MY LIFE CHARITY is ‘a project

with a strong message’ raising awareness for Survival

International on 29th May in Ibiza and Sat 5th June and

Sun 6th June in London

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life is a brand new concept and

charity that was born in Ibiza 2009. The brains behind this

new venture, and founder of the project, is Jonny Lee.

FOLLOW YOUR HEART PRODUCTIONS is based in Ibiza and

responsible for the production of the charity. The official

ambassadors are: Danny Rampling, Mark Wilkinson &

Nancy Noise. Together this team have launched Last Night

a DJ Saved My Life which operates as a charity awareness

and fund raising series of events across the globe. These

events focus on the dance music community through

collective of DJs and professionals who represent dance

music & club culture at its best.

On WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY (5th June), the charity

LAST NIGHT A DJ SAVED MY LIFE will launch with THE

ACID HOUSE EFFECT at CORSICA STUDIOS in London, and

is followed up by Balearic Mystique at The Light Bar on

Sunday 6th June,bringing its work into the public

consciousness, and creating an opportunity to raise

awareness of the amazing work carried out bySURVIVAL

INTERNATIONAL. Survival International is the only

international charity protecting the human rights of tribal

peoples. It is a cause our team and supporters strongly

believe in.

We are signing up DJs, Artists and Promoters to donate at

least 1 performance/gig a year to Last Night a DJ Saved My

Life, this will provide the base for successful awareness and

fund raising events for our selected charities. We are

looking for your support, join up and get involved now, it’s

for a good cause.

Our current patrons, who act as public supporters of our

project are: Alfredo, Jimi Mistry, The Barefoot Doctor,

Bruce Parry, Chez Damier, Rico Loop, DJ EASE/Nightmares

on Wax, Steve Proctor, Chris Coco…and we are adding

more names to this list each day.

The event will include production contributions from some

of the industry’s most innovative club technicians, VJs and

projectionists operating today including ELECTRIC FLY

LIGHTING, SP PROJECTS and MICROCHUNK

We will also arrange an exclusive screening of ‘They Call It

Acid – The Movie’ before the launch party to approximately

75 people at a screening room in Soho owned by The

Moving Picture Company. This film documents the stories

of the early house pioneers in Europe and the US, and ties

in with our theme…
