[LRS008] Jon Sweetname – Dulce Amor (Remixes)
Loco Records Supreme introduces Jon Sweetname – a DJ and producer from Spain who has had a lot of experience playing at small clubs in his town as well as performing at “Chiringuito” – a beach club in the summer. Jon has passion for all styles of house music including the underground and deep side of it. His sets are filled with a mix of tribal rhythms and electric fusion with other styles around the world, such as swing, jazz, funk or flamenco. As a producer, he started experimenting with a friend while creating minor remixes at 1990’s. Later, in 2000, he began working on music professionally and so in 2006 he was a finalist on Beatport’s first remix contest with “Sarah McLachlan”, and then he was a finalist on the Spanish edition of the Deejay Magazine remix contest with the track “Danny Tenaglia – Dibiza”. In 2007, Jon was a finalist again on Deejay Magazine Spain with the remix for “DJ Disciple – Work It Out”. So far, he has released his tunes on the following labels: Manuscript Records (The Ukraine), Sinsation Records (USA), SFR Recordings (ITA), Bleep Bloop (Brasil), Toto Recordings and Kotangens Records (The Ukraine), and Mimosa Recordings (USA). His latest production “Dulce Amor” has been remixed by Toucan and Martin Nowakowski and these two tracks make a fantastic addition to the atmosphere created by Loco Records Supreme.
Toucan are Bernardo Campos and Olliver Mach from Brazil. The project originated at the end of 2010, and up to now, Toucan have made a lot of commotion on the international electronic music scene. Bernardo has been DJing for a long time and is quite famous in the electronic music scene in Rio. He has made warm-ups for the likes of Anthony Rother, Claude Von Stroke, Jamie Jones, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, as well as has taken part at closed concerts for such people as Moby among others. Olliver is a skillful producer and DJ who has been making beats since he was 16 and so far, he has played in almost every place in Brazil.
Martin Nowakowski is a Polish producer residing in Sweden. Martin creates deep house and techno house and makes sure that his sounds are well-recognized in the world of electronic music. Besides producing, he also loves DJing and strongly supports vinyls.
