After the storming success of ‘Thunde’r and ‘Sound of Today ’ on Subliminal, Majestic 12 aka Nigel Champion and Robert Burns join the DTPM imprint and unleash their electrifying package of dancefloor stormers that are ‘I Am’, ‘Wanna Get High’ and ‘Sexy Babes’.Having joined joined forces in 1999 Southend boys Nigel and Rob have been working successfully together under several guises including Champion Burns, Light Boy and Topaz and Majestic 12 on acclaimed labels such as Nukleuz Records, Un-Tidy Trax and Subliminal as well as remixing works for other artists.

Prior to their unity Nigel formed N-Joi (de-construction) in 1990 and had numerous chart hits including ‘Anthem’ and ‘Adrenalin’ Subsequently N-Joi performed their hits on Top of the Pops and toured the States, UK, Asia and Australia with their live set. Nigel also worked with Paul Oakenfold, BT and Mr C. (Shamen) to name but a few. Rob in the 5 years prior to forming Majestic 12 worked with the likes of BK, Paul Young and Madam Friction. He also gained the respect of many clubber’s and DJ’s a like with his underground sound.

‘I am’ is a monsterous firey groove with a bubbling electro tinged driving bass that ploughs its way through the track. Served up on a bed of crisp jackin beats, tres chic key stabs, a unifying vocal sample topped with killer explosive crescendo that hits you in all the right places.

Wanna Get High’ is a deeper affair laced with soaring flavoursome synths complemented by a tribal percussive undercurrent, a twisted dark bass, and inviting vocal echoes that slowly builds up to a delicious airy breakdown before getting back to business.

‘Sexy Babes’ is a marriage of a seductive spoken word hook and a melodic synthasised vocal carried over spacey licks and a warm walking bass guaranteed to get any crowd nicely excited.

Already being championed by he likes of Pete Tong, Seb Fontaine, Tom Wainright and K-Klass, this tasty package should be more than enough to keep you satisfied.
