Mama Said is the new flagship Saturday night for The Magnet and

has a huge line up of guests booked in for the coming months. So

what better way to showcase the launch then a party on the last

Bank Holiday Sunday of the year. We also host the mUmU after

parties on the 1st Saturday of the month and a wide range of guests

each week that include Paul Thomas, Chris Coco, Tim Sheridan,

Milkwish and many many more.

Anyone tapped into the pulse or keeping score of modern electronic

music has probably heard of Timo Garcia. Straddling the fine line

between underground darling and big room, big tune dance floor

arsonist, his numerous releases on the circuit’s biggest and best

labels has been well documented. In addition to all this, Timo is the

man behind the excellent Berwick Street Records imprint, which is

another yet another vehicle for his creative excursions.

Mama Said are proud book him for the launch night, and TIMO

GARCIA brings us 3 hours of his own imprint for one hell of a party.

Showcasing the latest in cutting edge house and tech, Timo himself

has forthcoming releases on Yoshitoshi, Toolroom, Nervous,

Veryverywrongindeed and Dieb Audio. It’s Mr Garcia in control for 3

hours in the Funktion One room. So strap yourself in and hold on

tight!

we used the ‘journey’ word!) from Deep through Tech to big room

festival House. The first hour was Mix of The Week on the DontStayIn

(Mixmag) website whilst the second hour was aired on Sharam’s

YOSHI Radio show and podcast. Finally the 3rd hour of this Saga is

being used by Tilllate as part of the SW4 Festival promotion

campaign where Timo will grace the main stage this year.
