For this special festive musical feast, the northern underground
institution that is The Mint Club, have pulled out all the stops, enlisting
the help of seven of Leeds’ hottest party brands around; Filth, Traffic,
Technique, System, Asylum, Filthy Habit and Louche, alongside
massive headline act ZOO BRAZIL!! Together they are going to throw
one serious Christmas shindig to end all others, and get your festive
season off to a raving start.
The legends that are Zoo Brazil have flown in exclusively to blow the
roof off The Mint Club, Their incredible music has been brought to the
worlds ears via none other than the ‘Get Physical’ label run by techno
Gods, Booka Shade. With remixes under their belts for the likes of
one of the hottest underground labels around, Ralph Lawson’s 2020
Vision, as well as Music For Freaks, the uniquely recognizable driving
techno sound of Zoo Brazil has been honed to blinding perfection
over the seven year period of producing records, remixing tracks
and playing to clubbers all over the world.
With the joint forces of some of Leeds biggest and best club nights,
themselves legends amongst the cities highly musically educated and
underground loving crowd, and with back up from the North’s number
one electronic dance music magazine, Traffic Mag, you can expect a
cross genre journey fusing bass-heavy house and deep techno to
create an eclectic party atmosphere that will leave all body parts
shaking. Expect some bass line drops and tripped out riffs played out
on The Mint Club’s brand new Funktion One soundsystem, all
complimented by the seizure inducing visual feast provided by the
LED covered ceiling. With a line up like this your still going to be
shaking come Christmas Day!
