all ages and pockets” NME Festival Guide 2009
“Its grass-roots atmosphere has led some to declare it a mini-
Glastonbury for the North.” Cool camping guide to festivals
Moor Music Festival is an independent and beautiful weekend party
held in the stunning, rolling hills of good ole Yorkshire. The cutting
(h)edge and diverse programme of music, arts and activities ranges
wildly and wonderfully from acoustic to reggae, Burlesque strip to
Arthouse cinema and pingpongathons to drumming workshops.
Moor Music Festival unites the arts and brings people together. Over
the weekend, families and friends from ages 0 – 90 may find
themselves making a lantern, dancing to dubstep, quaffing local ales
or frolicking in the hills. Moor Music Festivals’ intimate atmosphere
and timeless environment means that it is fast becoming one of
Yorkshire’s best loved festivals.
