Jules began playing in 1987, launching a career that has easily notched up
hundreds of thousands of miles, millions of spins of the decks and countless
gigs in far-flung destinations, as well as the odd dirty warehouse thrown in
for good measure. Jules’ DJ sets are the epitome of what DJing is all about –
passion, amazing tunes and a pair of hands capable of the most nimble of
mixing. With a list of awards that would make the American Olympic team blush,
Jules has earned his place amongst the DJ aristocracy.

Rarely out of DJ Mag’s top 10 in the annual Top 100 DJs poll, Jules has won
such accolades as – “Best DJ” (Muzik Awards), No.1 DJ (Mixmag
reader’s poll), “Best International DJ” (Dancestar), and “Best
Radio DJ” at the Smirnoff Dancestars.

Awards aside, there is no doubt that Jules remains one of the most popular
figures in dance music, both home and abroad.

Jules’ has the unrivalled ability to pull a crowd, swirl them round and leave
them wanting more, regularly playing at all the top club nights in the UK:
Cream, Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Progress, Garlands, Goodgreef, Slinky, Passion
@ Emporium, Serious @ The Cross, Lush (Northern Ireland), The Arches (Glasgow),
Promise and the Honeyclub. Plus he’s packed out fields at the UK’s best
festivals and weekenders including Homelands, Creamfields and Global Gathering.
Now he returns to Leeds making his debut at The Mint Club where he is set to
put on a show like no one other!

Having played to sell out crowds leaving party goers screaming for more, Leeds
local boy Dale is the newest member of the Bitch roster. Fresh from Global
Gathering, he will be taking his rightful place as Neon’s chief resident every
Wednesday at The Mint Club! Music is Dale’s passion, and 1st discovered House
music around 6 years ago. He fell in love with the club scene and music alike
and spent 5 years visiting the North’s best club nights, experiencing various
genres of House music as well as meeting many good friends along the way.

In the last 12 months he has exploded on the Yorkshire Club scene & has
played some of the North’s most respected and sought after club events. From
being completely unknown Dale has quickly established himself as one of the
regions most promising & exciting young talents.

Dale is best known for his own style, blending upfront, dirty, speaker shaking
house music to make no set alike and he’ll also be venturing into the tech side
of life, still ripping the dance floor apart by dropping some heavy bass lines
& stompin’ beats, whipping the crowd into a frenzy.

By drawing influences from his earlier clubbing years and from friends &
DJ’s around him, together with his incredible enthusiasm behind the decks, Dale
always delivers. With his own productions, more dates in Ibiza and his new
residency at Neon, as well as Bitch, Dale is definitely one to watch this year!

SIMON KUZNETSOV

Having made a name for himself as Neon’s main resident last year, Simon has
quickly established himself as a key member of the Bitch roster since joining
us in April. With his cool blend of electro/house and blood pumping anthems,
Simon’s love for music transcends onto the dancefloor with every tune he spins!

Continuing his Neon residency alongside Dale, Mr. K will be giving the Neon
crowds something to remember every single week, as he tears it up in the Main
Room as well as in the Terrace!

THE VENUE

The Mint Club has undergone a £500, 000 refurbishment. FUNKTION 1 are
installing the sound. A cutting edge lighting system called a ‘DISCO PANEL’
which features in the ‘Watergate’ club, Berlin has been installed, which is the
first of it’s kind in this country.

On top of this the bars, DJ booth, seating areas, dance floor, toilets, and
outside have all been up graded to a very high specification.

The stage is set for the Mint to be one of the best clubs around…a dj’s
paradise, a clubbers dream.
