The first of the two cuts sees label co-owner and dance music
heavyweight Dylan Rhymes unleash the outstanding ‘Suicide Girl’
This has been one of the most requested tacks we have had in
pipeline since it first appeared on our lot49 ‘presents’ Meat Katie mix
– a solid distorted 303 riff that is simply infectious and a tried and
tested club weapon.
MEDICINE 8
“THIS IS ELETRAMITE”
Electramite marks the return of the much loved medicine 8. Huge
oldskool techno rave feel with bouncing funk laden drops and taunt
teutonic vocal samples. Straight outta Belgium circa 1992 but with a
production update, this is the real deal, authentic tough &relentless,
medicine 8 effortlessly showing they are still ahead of the game.

“POUNCE”
2008 has been a cracking year for 30hz. Still reeling from the “Re-
Herded” package, James 30Hz has been busy in the studio lending
his engineering skills to other artists, but he kindly took time out to
give us ‘Pounce’ to wet our appetite. ‘Pounce’ is everything that is
right about bass-line house – punchy beats, (great production), rough
but funky bass line, with a huge payoff – yet another feather to the
30Hz bow.
BLENDE
“PEACHES”
Hardly a newcomer, Blende has been slaying it recently – he is the
producers producer, his razor sharp bass and crunchy beats have not
gone unnoticed by his fan club which stretches from Soulwax to
Klaxons. “Peaches” has been knocking about for a while on cdr, but it
now finds it way into the public domain. It has been a main stay and
a real kept secret of lot49’s dj’s and close friends…………. sorry
guys, we had to release it at some point!

MEAT KATIE & KID BLUE
“INDIAN QUEENS”
Mark &Rory bring a new twist to that acid groove we all know &love
so much, forever tweaking and moving this is something for the late
night crowd – warm bellowing bass and moments of melodic bliss this
track is already gaining favour with big room Dj’s such as James
Zabelia &portuguese house legend Dj Vibe. There is an Meat Katie
&Kod Blue 3 track EP in the pipeline too…. so watch this space!!!
10 RAPID
“THE TOUCH”
Dom (10 rapid) has carved a great sound out for himself. Best known
for release’s with Koma &Bones’ excellent Burrito records, Dom
contributed “The Touch” to Lot49 which carries all his trademarks
including his distorted funk sound which has gained him some serious
respect from the self-styled French glitch ‘clique’ – although don’t be
mislead here ‘The Touch’ is a peak time club bomb!
