HOT227- Translucent- RhythmWith a clear nod to the G Swing style, Translucent, who has produced tunes on cutting edge imprint, brings the same charm to his RED HOT release. This time around, he calls on Farris Wheel signature producer Gene Farris. With Farris’ participation, flipping this record over is like heads and tails of a coin. Farris’ remix makes this record a satisfying purchase for fans of driving, powerful, house joints. Summing it all up, the A side is a sure shot with your G Swingers, and the B side is a perfect match to productions by Gene Farris found on Soma.
PIG001- Tonrausch- Tonaurch V’s Monkey “Drunk”
This was a new label debut! Loaded with proper piano keys, thick bass line and soothing vocals, this record is 100% sure to light up and bring a feeling to any dark room. Pigeon Tracks will be sure to grab some attention offering a classy house sound which is sure to burn into the back of of music shoppers heads internationally! All considered, here is another winner that will acquire a following among serious and vocal house heads. Works well with releases from Salted, Nitegrooves and Kingstreet. (best put… this is very Kaskade – Mettle Music sounding.)
TON001- Johnny Fiasco- All Night
Mr. Juan Lopez aka Johnny Fiasco brings on a package of sound and style that moves bodies on the dance floor. Following his releases on OM Records, Uniform, Double Down and other labels you can tell that names Johnny Fiasco and Tonic stand for serious music business. Here are two sides of delight from a top Chicago producer that has one time or another rang the bell of every serious record shopper. Warm soothing synths, proper drum work and sweet vocal drops to intensify the experience of any night out on the town. Bold as it may be… here is another Fiasco record that everybody loves.
XJR403-Tommie Sunshine – Dance Among The Ruins
The same formula displayed in the co- production of Felix Da Housecat’s SILVER SCREEN hit! Just as Tommie Sunshine assisted with that production, its not hard to tell after listening to this record that its obvious he’s chosen to bring a little of that same magic front and center in this particular release! Considering the sudden rush acid tracks bring back to a party, Sunshine calls on analog captain Mark Verbos to back him with an acid line. The poetic message he delivers is just the same as Miss Kitten did in Silver Screen. The best part of it all is that this release will not only be a winner among the electro heads, it can also be utilized as a funky acid house track for house DJs everywhere!
