Kristin Mainhart is a New
York vocalist whose prodigious talent at the mic is
equaled only by her striking ability as a songwriter. Singing almost before she
could talk, Kristin’s musical sensibility has developed in the long tradition
of sultry female singers whose inner strength is belied by a yielding
sensitivity, startling in its intimacy. Khromozomes provides the
beats. A mixture of plush instrumentals and wicked beats, concocts an elixir of
moody tracks guaranteed to sooth the boredom blues. Hip-hop, Trip-hop, call it
what you will; it’s music that will open your eyes, even as it moves your body.

Remixes are courtesy of some of the most up-and-coming names of the progressive
house scene: V-Sag, Angel Stoxx and Evan Kay (a.k.a. Phatjak
owners of Mokilok Records) and dPen. Released on the Greek label The Sound of Everything, the EP has already been
receiving very impressive feedback from DJs and radio stations worldwide.

V-Sag’s productions are supported by the best DJs and producers worldwide
including John Digweed, Tiesto, Hernan Cattaneo, Deep Dish, Dave Seaman, James
Holden, Steve Porter, Lemon8, Markus Schultz, G-Pal, Gabriel and Dresden, Pole
Folder, Sultan, Tone Depth, Perry O’ Neil to name a few, while being released
by some of the most respected and forward-thinking record labels on the worldwide
dance scene, including Armada, Audio Therapy, Black Hole. He has also produced
a remix on the classic track of Loreena McKennitt – Marrakesh Night Market.
This remix was recently approved by Quinlan
Road and was also licensed to Buddha-Bar XI (George
V).
