    We start the night off playing our favorite records from years ago
    Then at midnight we switch over to the new digital formats of CDs / USB

    We wanted to do a night showcasing some of our favorite old jams on vinyl and do the transition to all of our favorite newer tracks that have come out in the digital era. We have done this night a few times before and they are always super successful so we wanted to bring it back and play some tracks that we missed the first few times.

    Times have changed since we first started Focus and it’s an exciting time for music producers in general. The ability to make a track, burn it to CD and play it that night is something that’s fairly new. It used to be all DJs (including the focus residents) would play on Technics 1200s with Vinyl records. Now the digital age is upon us and at Focus we have embraced the Pioneer CDJ-1000s and CDJ-2000s. With the CDJ-2000s new USB Feature we can play an entire set with one USB Flash drive. Come take a journey through time with us Tuesday as Wobs, Nonfiction & Josh Billings explore some of their favorite tracks from past, present and future (unreleased).

    So come dance with us this Tuesday and don’t forget about the drink specials before 10:30 ($3 Beers / Sangria or $3.50 Vodka Energy / Midori Sour / Cosmos til 10:30) + the dope $1 Tacos on the patio.
