    THAT

    May 2009

THAT, without doubt London’s coolest new venue, pushes on into its

second month with another marathon run of amazing parties and

events lined up seeing you right through to June. With an array of the

cities biggest promoters catching on to the THAT magic and lining

themselves up behind the decks, big changes are underway…

Already the home of one of the global dance industries biggest

promotions, In Bed With Space, as well as proud owner of London’s

finest outdoor clubbing space, a 700 capacity terrace, it’s not hard to

see why THAT is the club that keeps on turning heads in a transient

time in the cities club scene. After its amazing launch party in April,

that saw Kinky Malinki drop by armed with international DJ

superstars, Gordon Edge and Jason Bye, THAT is keeping standards

high on the party front with even more jaw droppers for their 1800

strong crowd, and a few secret surprises along the way…

Coming into its own this month, THAT’s Terrace will be enjoying

status as a venue all its own as the club takes full advantage of the

unrivalled space and the quickly approaching summer months.

Holding Terrace Session parties in the afternoons, with a selection of

both the UK’s and the International scene’s biggest DJ’s, THAT will

bring a whole new dimension to your long summer nights and blissed

out days. With the launch night set for Bank Holiday Sunday, 24th

May, and headliners already confirmed such as major international

DJ’s ATFC and Jonathan Ulysses, your Ibiza blues will be considerably

eased right through to the autumn.

Filling up the rest of your weekends with the finest House, Techno,

and Progressive beats, brought to you by huge London promotions

Plush Dafunk, Smartie Partie, Too Damn Glam, and newest guests,

Café Mambo, all delivering knee trembling line ups including artists

such as Martijn Ten Velden, Paul Darey and Alex Miles, THAT aren’t

letting anything slip. Ending the month on their regular high with

residents In Bed With Space, who as usual will be injecting some

Balearic spirit to the Ibizan inspired Terrace along with massive

House DJ, Michael Gray, THAT has more than lived up to the hype

and delivered the goods second month in. Roll on summer…

Velden. Working closely alongside the likes of Toolroom’s Mark

Yardley, goes some way to describing just how successful and

diverse this artist is. Keeping his head above ground with endless

studio work and gigs at the likes of MoS and Godskitchen in the UK,
