ITALIAN REVIEW:

Sinceramente era da tanto che non mettevo gli occhi su un disco dei Pound Boys [putroppo non conosco il sito ufficiale del duo]: l’ultimo che mi ha esaltato a livelli estremi è stato quel Behind the Groove con quel sample rubato a Teena Marie che, a mio parere, ha parecchio influenzato anche successi del momento quale lo strasuonato Lola’s Theme. Devo ammettere che però la loro ultima produzione su Look at You[http://www.lookatyourecords.com](non lo sapevate?E’ la loro etichetta..cioè è stata creata da loro ) non mi ha per niente deluso, anzi, il rmx di “Basic” Brett Johnson è puro groove accompagnato dalla voce di Norma Jean Wright.Questo cd è davvero bello, d’altronde il du ocomposto da DJ Dealer e DJ Craig C lavorano sodo sin dagli inizi degli anni 90 e hanno anche apportato ai loro lavori della collaborazioni con gente del calibro di Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, K.D. Lang, Byron Stingily, Dajae e Kim English ecc.

In definitiva, il cd si presta ad un ascolto oculato e ottimale per chi è amante del genere. Fra l’altro, poteva mai non recensire un cd dei Pound Boys un ragazzo che porta come nickname K Pasa?

Oh it’s so many time i haven’t bought something made by Pound Boys [sorry, i don’t know their site 🙁 ]: last one i’ve bought was “Behind The Groove” with a sample taken from Teena Marie who, according to me, has addicted all musical market; an example could be the best tune of this year: Lola’s Theme, too similar to “Behind The Groove”. But also a great production on Look at You Rec. [http://www.lookatyourecords.com] (it’s their own labels,do you know?)drives me crazy sang by Norma Jean Wright and rmxed by the great “Basic” aka Brett Johnson.This is a great cd made by DJ Dealer e DJ Craig C who have been working together since 1990 and they’ve collaborated with a lot of famous and important singers as:Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, K.D. Lang, Byron Stingily, Dajae e Kim English etc.

So, the cd is amazing and cool for all the people who love this genre. Really, i shouldn’t review this cd or maybe i may do it cause my nickname K Pasa is taken from a track of them?
