Sancho Panza whose Carnival sessions and boat parties are
without doubt London’s finest touch down at East Village for
their new club residency. Taking place every 2 months at East
Village, they host the house basement with its killer sound
system inviting friends to spin alongside them and welcoming some
of London’s funkier crews to take over the upstairs lounge. For the
opening party in January Sancho residents Matt Brown + Jimmy K-
Tel are joined by regular collaborator and EV resident Stuart
Patterson with Rob + Jody [Cartonic] warming the room up
nicely.
Upstairs the Flashlight crew move from disco to funk and oldskool
electro sounds. For a year now they have been rocking parties over
East. Having launched at the Star of Bethnal Green just
over a year ago Flashlight has now found its way to East
Village via the Egg, The Aquarium and the Platinum Bar. A musical
treat on both floors from these London stalwarts.
