As an avid clubber, DJ Jay Kinard grew a love for strong base lines, driving synths, and fantastic parties in the New York scene. He acquired a pair of turntables in 2003, and learned the ins and outs of mixing using vinyl records. With early inspirations such as Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, and Danny Howells, over time his love of music branched out into numerous genres of Electronic Dance. Currently, he spins progressive house and trance at private parties, chill restaurant lounges, and clubs in New York City. His main goal and focus is to have people enjoy themselves listening to music whether it is out at a venue or at leisure. To him, the music is a key element in making the experience memorable for a person.
#31982 |And of course, don’t miss livesets from Sedna at National Underground and Pacha NYC, in addition to mashups and original productions at http://soundcloud.com/djsedna/.

Sedna is a Trance DJ and producer hailing from the suburban town of Madison, Connecticut. After receiving a brand-new violin from his grandparents during early grade-school, a deep infatuation with the creation of music took hold of him. Several years later, after gaining proficiency in a variety of string instruments, he took his first stab at electronic music production on a demo copy of Fruity Loops 3.
Now, nearly a decade since his first minor experiments with EDM production, the trance music scene has taken over his life entirely. Whether at the clubs, behind the decks, or in the studio (aka a mediocre desktop PC)… wherever he may be, a four-on-the-floor beat will closely follow.
